Since Myra is 3, she should be able to use her thumb in opposition to MORE than just one finger.
She should, however ,be growing at the rate they describe on a yearly basis.
Can someone please help with this question because I am confused.
Myra is three years old and is developing normally.
Which statement is True about her
physically?
1. Myra's thumb is opposable to
just one finger.
2. Myra will grow approximately
2 to 3 inches taller this year.
My text states:
Preschoolers grow at the rate of 2 to
3 inches in height and 4 to 6 pounds
in weight in a year.
At about 18 to 24 months, the child's
thumb is used in opposition to just
one finger.
I am confused- because if 3 year old Myra is developing normally wouldn't she already have experiences both examples 1 and 2?
I don't understand what to put for
