If no digit can be used more than once, how many 5-digit numbers can be formed using the numbers 3,8,1,2,5, and 7?

I have no clue how to solve this problem, the wording always tricks me.

the question is the same as asking how many ways can 5 of 6 items be arranged.

You will recall that that is 6P5 = 720
