I'll send this to one of our French experts, SraJMcGin.
a. ok
b. rather than "des" = de New York...modernes (la résidence = feminine)
c. ok
d. again, rather than "des" = de New York...intelligents (plural subject "les étudiants" requires plural adjective = intelligents)

I"ll flag this and come back later to see if you have other questions.

The sentences are correct or as corrected. But if you are working on, or have learned the demonstrative pronouns celui/celle/ceux/celles, then you can apply them to avoid repeating the subject in the same sentence.
For example, the first sentence could have been replaced by:
"La bibliothèque à New York est plus grande que celle à Paris."
Note:
celui: masc. sing.
celle: fem. sing.
ceux: masc. plur.
celles: fem. plur.
