Can someone explain the following to me?

1.How do you factor the difference of two squares?
2.How do you factor the perfect square trinomial?
3.How do you factor the sum and difference of two cubes?
I am so lost.

Example--Difference of squares:
(x^2 + 5x-6) = (x+6)(x-1)
1. Write an x in both parenthesis
2. Find factors of 6. (6x1 or 3x2)
3. The inner (6x) plus the outer (-1x) should equal the middle term 5x

Or you could foil.

Trinomial:
(a+b)(a^2-ab+b^2)
(a-b)(a^2+ab+b^2)
Something like that. You can just look it up on Google. They have many examples.
