What do you like to do?
6. ¿Qué tiempo hace hoy?
What is the weather like today?

8. ¿Dime de tu familia?
Tell me about your family.
9. ¿Qué hora es?
What time is it?
10. ¿Dime de tus amigos o amigas?
Tell me about your friends (boys) or friends (girls).

They are all correct. Bien hecho!
To answer your question. There are 2 verbs in Spanish that mean "to be." The question "¿Cómo estás?"(with estar) will get your health = good, bad, etc. The question "Cómo eres?" (with ser) will get what you ARE like = tall, thin, blonde, etc.
