Can anyone summarize the story "Roughing It" because i don't get the story

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!...i have a test on it tomorrow and i don't understand, what is the theme of the story?!?!?!?!...and did he write about hay and murdering?!?!?!
