Both Ernesto from barrio boy and the boy in "A Day's Wait" interact with adults. Ernesto interacts with Miss Ryan, while the sick boy interacts with his father. Compare and contrast how the boys interact with the adults. Focus on how the boys think of the adults, how the adults react to the boys, and how the boys respond to them. Use details from the selections to support your idea.

You probably have to look up the story

YOUR idea!! Not Ms. Sue's ideas!
we need help coming up with an idea.
How does each boy relate to the adults in the stories
Here's what I wrote:

The boy in "A Day's Wait" interacts with his father in a tired, polite, and nervous way. When the father finds out what he was afraid of, he tells him that he only has a temperature of 102 in the normal thermometer. (fahrenheit) The boy thought 102 was too much, because the kids in his school in France would say 44 is too much (in celcius) when actually, he only has a 102, which is not that bad of a temp that he will die. His father explains to him the differences between the thermometers the kid was using, and the kid finally understood. At first Ernestro from barrio boy is a little scared of Miss. Ryan (Because he doesn't understand english) but as he learns more english he becomes more comfortable with Miss. Ryan

STOP CHEATING YOU IDIOTS! FIGURE IT OUT FOR YOURSELF!
Anonymous, It isn't necessarily cheating, but helping students with an answer they have yet to figure out. The students obviously aren't copying the answer word-for-word, but using the other student's answer as a guideline for their own.
Yeah Anonymous, As long as you make sure to not copy it word for word its ok.
