When a famous actress arrived in town to work on a movie, an editor asked me to interview her. Because this was my first interview assignment, I felt far from_______(glib) about it. Instead, I was both excited and scared. Would a star(2)_______(comprise) to see me, an unknown, inexperienced reported? When I arrives at the movie set, I saw the actress standing in front of the painted (3)_____(façade)of a mansion. During a break in the filming, I approached her and introduced myself. Trying to be as congenial as possible, I smiled and told her I was pleased to meet her."Well, let's get this over with," she said, clearly annoyed. The interview went terribly. My dream of establishing a comfortable rapport with the star soon vanished as the interview degenerated into an awkward, demoralizing situation that I just wanted to end. Although it(4)_______(blast)carefully thought-out questions, she sighed or rolled her eyes at every one of them. And no matter how(5)______(haughty)my manner, she seemed to view me as some sort of threat. At one point, she became irate and yelled, "That's(6)_____(redundant)I don't have time to answer the same question twice." When I asked her about serious issues, her answers were totally(7)_____(glib)- insincere and shallow. Now I have to write about her. Here's my dilemma: Should I hide my revulsion and say good things about her? Or should I tell the truth- threat she's a (8)__________(haughty), rude woman who thinks only of herself and expects others to do the same? If I do, she might accuse me of maligning her and sue me for (9)______.(libel) Maybe the editor will let me use a (10)_____(pseudonym), so my real name won't appear on an article about this miserable woman.
