get both equations into slope-intercept form (solve for y)
2x - 3y= -3 ... -3y = -2x - 3 ... y = 2/3 x + 1
parallel lines have the same slope
perpendicular lines have slopes that are negative-reciprocals
these two appear to be neither
are these 2 equations for lines perpendicular, parrel, or neither?? i dont understand how to solve line equations very well.:
y= -2/3 x +1
2x - 3y= -3

that makes sense, actually, THANKS!
Eq1: slope = -2/3.
Eq2: slope = -A/B = -2/-3 = 2/3.
Answer: neither.
Eq2: slope = -A/B = -2/-3 = 2/3.
Answer: neither.
