First of all, online "^" is used to indicate an exponent, x^2 = x squared.

5x^2 = -(19/2x-1)

Get rid of the parenthesis and multiply by 2.

10x^2 = -19x + 2

Move all terms to left side.

10x^2 + 19x - 2 = 0

Factor the two end values into two factors that will add to the middle value.

(10x-1)(x+2) = 0

X = -2, 1/10

Use a similar process with the second equation.
