An outdoor supply store has its regularly priced $160 jackets on sale for $120. What is the discount rate?

120/160*100=75% but that doesn't seem right. I believe it should be 25% discount, but I don't know how to set that up. Can someone tell me if the above is correct, if not, please help me set it up so I will get the correct answer.

100 - 25 = 75
so you took 25 off every hundred
In other words, 25% discount

another way to do it:
160 - 120 = 40 dollars discount

100 (40/160) = 25 %
thats the way i ended up doing it...thanks.
