According to the results of cross-cultural research, distal parenting often results in toddlers who are self aware but less obedient than those who engage in proximal parenting?

Is this False? I have no idea on where to find the answer to this...

Thanks! What about this question:

When parents modify their child-rearing expectations according to their offspring's temperamental style, the result is a more harmonious "fit" between them?

I would say this is "false" because it wouldn't benefit anyone in the long run
I disagree with you. Not all children are alike. Within reason, parents should consider their child's temperament. Sometimes just saying "no" will cause a stubborn child to rebel. Working with the child and explaining why may work better with that child.
