My answer: I would have to say to buy an 8 pound bag of dog food.

I am confused though if they are asking what math operation to do.

Figure out the cost per pound for each size bag.

$1.345 or $1.35 is the cost per pound for a 4 pound bag

$0.925 or $0.93 is the cost per pound for an 8 pound bag

The better buy would be the 8 pound bag.
