A talk-radio station airs commercials during any time not used for discussions with callers. Commercial time on the station costs $750.00 per minute. Write a variable expression for the amount of money the station can make on commercials in one hour, based on the number of minutes in the house used for discussions.

Make sure to tell what the variable represents.

I need help on this one, i have a lot of trouble on making expressions.

Whatever time during the hour that is spent on discussion does not earn money. Thus we have to consider time during the hour other than discussion.

Earnings/hour = (60 - disc. minutes)$750

I hope this helps. Thanks for asking.
