I would use substitution by subbing the 2nd into the first
(-2x+10) + 2 = 3(x-1)
-2x + 10 + 2 = 3x - 3
-5x = -15
x = 3
now put that back into the 2nd:
y = -2(3) + 10
= -6+10 = 4
A System of Equations is Given
y+2=3(x-1)
y=-2x+10
What is the solution to the system?
