A sound poem is a poem that uses sounds instead of words. Write a sound poem about a setting connected to your theme or one of your subtopics. If you can, go to this setting a listen to its sound. Try to spell out the sounds you hear so that someone could imitate these sounds using their voice. If you cannot visit this setting, imagine what it sounds like. Try them out. You cannot use words to do this. Arrange these spelled out sounds in order to make a poem that carries meaning. What would the sound of a car crash be like? What would it start with? Would there be screams? Footsteps? Sirens? Think about how you can arrange sounds in order to tell a story.
