In the mystic twilight, I take flight,
A mere mortal bound to earthly tether,
With ephemeral dreams, my inner light,
I embark on a journey to poetic endeavor.
A cacophony of words, whispering, unseen,
Within the realms of my reverie's sphere,
As contemplation weaves a tapestry serene,
Feathers of vivid imagery take flight, clear.
With the quill of passion, I carve my story,
Metaphors and similes adorn my script,
Like a mariner navigating seas out of glory,
I sail, on waves ethereal, swiftly equipped.
Words, potent vessels of emotion untold,
Gently lapping upon the shores of my heart,
Love's caress, a flame, infinitely bold,
Flourishing, like a flower, a work of art.
Sonnets dance upon the stage of my verse,
Rhyming couplets and tercets playing harmonies,
While personification, the atmosphere does immerse,
Breathing soul into inanimate entities.
Embarking on a voyage, grand and divine,
In each stanza, a microcosm, a delight,
With alliteration, I make my verses shine,
As emotions surge, I find solace, out of sight.
But what is poetry, if not reflection of life?
A mirror, held up to humanity's face,
Expressing love, pain, joy, and strife,
A glimpse into our souls, a sacred space.
So, let us revel in these words we share,
Let poetry illuminate our path ahead,
With each phrase, a piece of our hearts laid bare,
Let us rejoice in this tapestry we've spread.
For within these lines, a humanness blooms,
As each verse sings the melody of our souls,
With vocabulary words that resonate, looms,
A symphony of emotions, as life unfolds.
