I stand by my answer, I even proved at the end that it was correct.
Have you considered that the text might be wrong?
A raft was sent away from point A downstream. A patrol-boat left A 5 hour and 20 min later and caught up with the raft 20 km away from point A. What was the speed of the raft if the speed of the patrol-boat was 12 km/hour?
Reiny, I know you did this but it wasn't right

I don't think the text is wrong, but everytime I try to plug this answer in to the system it says it is incorrect
Oh for goodness sake!
I proved to you that the answer is correct
What do you mean by "I try to plug this answer in to the system " ??
What system?
" it says it is incorrect"
who is this "it" ???
show me the steps, perhaps I can see your error.

Reiny I am sorry, I just had to round the number to 3
I plugged in this answer into the system and it is incorrect. You are wrong Reiny. I trust the system more than I trust you, sorry but it is the truth.
This is BS- you are a dumb little student who just wants the answers to an extracurricular activity math class; you can't even understand that REINY IS 100% CORRECT
Reiny and Matt ur stupid
what is the answer though?!?
The answer is 3
This is very late, but the system counted it as wrong because it considered the speed of the downstream (and the rate of 12km per hour was, I suppose with considering the down stream). So Matt, Reiny was wrong and you are extremely immature don't understand why you take such a think to heart...
man I just came here for some wholesome math.
oml
dude you guys are dumb. It is 3. omfg
oh god we starting an internet argument here. This problem is so annoying
