Ending Division
In our class, we learn and grow,
With pencils sharp and faces aglow.
But sometimes in math, we hit a wall,
Division comes, and we feel small.
“Why can’t we share?” we often sigh,
As numbers dance and twirl and fly.
But let’s find a way, let’s make it fun,
Division’s a puzzle we can all run!
One big group and we split it down,
Like sharing cupcakes at a birthday town.
If we take turns and work as a team,
We’ll find the answers like in a dream!
We’ll grab our markers, let’s draw a pie,
Sharing evenly, oh me, oh my!
Each slice a number, fair and square,
Together we’re stronger; together we care.
With each problem solved, we cheer and shout,
Division’s not scary; let’s give it a rout!
In fifth grade, we’ll learn side by side,
Ending division with hearts open wide.
So here’s to the friendships, the laughter, the fun,
Together we'll conquer; let’s get it done!
With numbers and kindness, we’ll break every wall,
In our fifth-grade class, we can share it all!
