A group of friends wants to go to the amusement park. They have no more than $420 to spend on parking and admission. Parking is $8.75, and tickets cost $25.75 per person, including tax. Which inequality can be used to determine xx, the maximum number of people who can go to the amusement park?

3 answers

A. 8.75x + 25.75x ≤ 420
B. 8.75x + 25.75xx ≥ 420
C. 8.75x + 25.75x < 420
D. 8.75x + 25.75x > 420

C. 8.75x + 25.75x < 420
clearly:
25.75x + 8.75 ≤ 420

(I will use the standard x as the variable, why use xx ? )
None of the choices make sense, parking would not be base on
the number of people, I assume it would be $8.75 for the vehicle.
Wrong both of you
