C = Corn
S = Soybens
She wants to plant 110 more acres of soybeans than corn means:
S = C + 110
Total area = 300 acre so:
C + S = 300
Replace S = C + 110 in tis equation
C + C + 110 = 300
2 C + 110 = 300
Subtract 110 to both sides
2 C = 190
C = 190 / 2 = 95
95 acre of corn
S = C + 110 = 95 + 110 = 205
205 acre of soybens
S = Soybens
