A certain computer can perform 10 to the 5th power calculations per second. How many calculations can it perform in 10 seconds?

just remember 10^5 is equal to 100,000 and this is only for one second. if you multiply 100,000 by 10 you will get how many calculations it can make in 10 seconds.
Step 1: Find out what 10 to the 5th power is equal to. it = 100,000
Step 2: Multiply 100,000 by 10
Step 3: your answer = 1,000,000
Step 2: Multiply 100,000 by 10
Step 3: your answer = 1,000,000
Thanks a lot Amanda, the only smart one around here!
Amanda's answer is really good, this helped a lot thank you!
its 100,000,000 i hot an 💯
So its just 10^6?
Thank chu~💜
Thanks Amanda!
thanks amanda
Thanks, Amanda!
Thanks Amanda always
Thanks Amanda you helped a lot :)
what about in exponential form? I don't know what that means
Thanks for ur help Amanda. <=
thx
Thanks so much amanda :3
I think exponential form means that they want to you have it with an exponent, Thegirlfromafrica. So, if 1,000,000 is the answer, they would want you to answer it like 10^6. (Basically the exponent is how many zeros there are after the one when dealing with a base of 10. In one million there are six zeros following the one, so the exponent is six.) Hope this helps! 👍🤞
@3.14159265359 your on the right track but it would be exponent 5 because one of the zeros is in the ten so the exponent would be 5 because there is 5 extra zeros NOT counting the one in the 10
never mind im stupid your right 3.14159265359 it is that, so everyone ignore my comment above
so is it 10^6???
