A boy has a mass of 45 kg and is running with a velocity of 8 m/s. Find the boy's kinetic energy.

Kinetic energy:
KE=0.5*m*v^2
(KE=kinetic energy, m=mass, v=velocity ***which happens to be squared!)
Also, units are in joules.
KE= 0.5*m*v^2
=0.5*45*8^2
=1440 J
