A cart of apples is rolling toward you in the street. It’s velocity is 2m/s. Its total mass is 50kg. You are running toward the cart of apples (hint your velocity is opposite direction of the carts velocity). You have a mass of 45kg. What velocity must you be running at to bring yourself and the cart of apples to a complete stop once you collide?

Your momentum should equal the oncoming momentum. 45*V=50*2
