a body is projected horizontally with a velocity of 20m/s from height of a tower 160m above the ground calculate the time of flight distance from the foot of the tower to where the object land

how long does it take to fall 160m? The horizontal speed does not affect that.

4.9t^2 = 160

Now, the horizontal speed does not change, so the body travels

20t meters
what if i said it is u=20 h=160
20/10=2m/s 160/10=16
t=8m/s
1.time of flight =8m/s 16/2=8m/s
2.distance=20*10=200/10=2
distance
=2*10/10=2mls
H=8m/s
V=2m/s

thats how i got my answer collect me if am worng
H:160m
t:T. ay:9.8
Uy : 0
H: uy*t+1/2ay*t*t
160=0*T+1/2 * 9.8*TT
160=1/2*9.8*TT
160*2/9.8=TT
√160/√4.9=T
4√10/7=T
