A battery of e.m.f. 6.0 V, and internal resistance 1.0 ohms is connected to a resistor and drives a current of 125 mA through it. What is the resistance of the resistor?

Thank you!!

internal + external = 6.0 v / 125 ma
When they ask for the resistor, do they mean the internal + external or just the external since they already give you the internal? One of my answer options is 47 ohms and the other is 48 ohms so I’m not sure which to go with.
