A ball thrown vertically upward is caught by the thrower after 20.0 s. FInd (a)the initial velocity and (b) the maximum height it reaches.
All I am given is time. How am I suppose to find (a) and (b)?

oh but yeah u first use the equation v=v(0)+at and then use y=v(0)t+1/2at^2. Set v(0) to zero each time and a to either -9.8 m/s if it is going upward or 9.8 m/s if it is going downward
V=u +at. 0=u+-10.20 -u=-200 U=200m/s. Height. S=ut+1/2at S=200.20+-10/2.20^2. S=400-2000. S=1600m
