A 1" x 1" 1/8" copper ingot has a density of 8.94 g/mL. 25 pellets were obtained from the ingot. Explain what would be the density of each pellet.

I went ahead and found the mass of the ingot which is 1.1175g but I'm still stumped on what to do from there.

* 1" x 1" x 1/8"
density is a physical property of a substance, it does not change if the substance is subdivided.
Density of pellets = density of ingot.

Now mass you determined. I have a great suspect it is wrong.
Volume of pellet=(2.54cm)^3 *1/8=
= 2.04 cm^3 check that.

Masspellet=8.94g/cm^3 * 2.04 not what you got.
