A survey indicated that 3 out of 5 doctors use brand X aspirin.
If 2000 doctors were surveyed, how many used brand X?

2000/ 3/5 400*5/3*5

No.
You can't have 1/3 of a doctor.
3/5 = x/2000
Cross multiply and solve for x.
