the formula for finding the surface area of a cube is A=6s with 2 at the corner where s is to the lengh of one side of the cube. what is the volume of the cube with side lengh of one half inches?

why bother with the area stuff (by the way, it's A=6s^2), when you want the volume?
v = s^3 = (1/2)^3 = 1/8
