a chord is when you play 3 or more notes together. Say, C,E,G. This is the 'C' chord. I cant really show you how to play it, but ill have a go....
KEYBOARD:

A A# B B# c C# D D# e E# F F# g G#

the lower case letters are the ones that you play for a 'c' chord.
Try and imagine the #s are the small black keys.
