There is a winter storm and the snow is falling at a rate of 4 inches/hour. Write 3 equivalent ratios associated with the following rate 4/inches/hour.

How many inches will fall between 8pm and 12pm?

4in/hr = 1/15 in/min = 1/3 ft/hr


Surely the last part you can do.

8pm to 12pm is 4 hours.
At 4 in/hr, that means ? inches.

PS 12pm is bogus. 12:00 is either noon or midnight.
PM means <b>post</b>-meridiem, which is <b>after</b> noon
