There are two sentences that vary only by one word difference.
Sentences:
The young girl wrote a short note to her mother.
The young girl sent a short note to her mother.
My Answer:
Girl sent/wrote Note ---to Mother
-the -a -her
-young -short
The structure is:Noun, verb, noun, (Preposition),noun
Please help me understand this and thanks for the links.

Is there any difference? I don't know if its a trick question or if I really have two questions that are the same.

Ms. Sue
Obviously there's a slight difference in meaning, but grammatically there's no difference. Both wrote and sent are transitive verbs and have a direct object.
