How many grams of NaOH are present in 5.0 mL of a 1.0% (m/v) NaOH solution?

The term 1% NaOH (m/v) means 1 g NaOH in 100 mL solution. 1g/100 mL then gives you the g/mL and that x 5 gives you the g in 5 mL.
