product implies that you are multiplying
I see only one multiplication.
Please retype your question using brackets so we can tell what order of operation you want.
I have a feeling you want it to look like
[(v^2 + v - 12)/(5v+10)][(-v-2)/(v^2 + 5v + 4)]

if so then it would factor to:
(v+4)(v-3)/(5(v+2)) * (-1)(v+2)/((v+1)(v+4))
= -(v-3)/(5(v+1)), v not equal to -2,-4
(v+4)(v-3)/(5(v+2)) * (-1)(v+2)/((v+1)(v+4))
= -(v-3)/(5(v+1)), v not equal to -2,-4
