It takes 18 3/8 inches of wood to make a frame for a small snapshot. Ms. Jones has 3 yards of wood. How many frames can she make?

3 yards = 9 feet because 1 yard = 3 feet
9 feet / 18.75 in = 9*12 / 18.75 =
108/18.75 = 5.76
She can make 5 frames with some wood left over.
This makes sense because 18 3/8 in is about 1 foot and 1/2 so thus 9 / 1.5 = 18/3 = 6 about. Since it is a bit over thus it is 5.
9 feet / 18.75 in = 9*12 / 18.75 =

36 inches = 1 yard
(3 * 36)/18.375 = ________ frames
Round down since she can't make a part of a frame.
