HELP!! It takes 64 inches of ribbon to make a bow and wrap the ribbon around a the box. The box takes 30 inches of ribbon. The width of the box is 12 inches. What is the height of the box?

if the with is 12 inches and the box takes thirty then you have 18 inches of ribbon left in the equation seeing how a box is a 3 dementinal figure it has 18 inches to share between 2 sides so you divide 18 by to and get 9 so the hight of your box would be 9

THE HEIGHT IS 5. 64 INCHES IN ALL. 30 FOR THE BOW. THAT MEANS YOU HAVE 34 INCHES LEFT. 12 INCH FOR THE LENGTH; BUT THERE IS THE BOTTOM AND TOP SO THAT'S 24. THAT MEANS THERE IS ONLY 10 INCHES LEFT FOR THE TWO HEIGHTS. H=5
