what is the value of 3^0+3^-2?
so I did 3^0=1
and 3^-2 =1/9
so 3^0+3^-2= 1 1/9
Is this correct?

3^0+3^(-2)
= 1 + 1/9
= 9/9 + 1/9
= 10/9 = 1.1111111...

Oh, and 10/9 is the same thing as 1 1/9, so you were right.
