Kaitlyn is making a necklace. She has round beads that are each 1/2 inch wide. She has an 8 inch piece of string. She wants 1/2 inch of space at each end of the string. How many round beads will she need?

8 - 1 = 7

7 /(1/2) = 7 * 2
