if 37.9 liters of NO at .993atm and 146 degrees celcius are decomposed by the reaction 2NO-->N2+O2
how many grams of nitrogen will be formed...
could you show mw step bu step how to do this ? thanks....i have finals tommorrow.... i need HHHHHHEEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPPPP
PV=nRT
P=0.993 atm
V = 37.9 L
n = solve for this
R = 0.080206 L*atm/mol*K
T = 273 + 146 = 419 Kelvin
n = 1.095 mols ofNO.
mols N2 formed from the reaction =
mols NO x (1 mol N2/2 mols NO)=
1.095 x 1/2 = 0.547
grams N2 = mols x molar mass which I will leave for you to do.
grams N2 = 0.547 x 28 = ??
Check my thinking. Check my arithmetic.
