A cyclist maintains a constant velocity of
5.2 m/s headed away from point A. At some
initial time, the cyclist is 251 m from point A.
What will be his displacement from his
starting position after 85 s?
Answer in units of m
What will be his position from point A after

1st Part
We're looking for displacement which means V=displacement/time
So it would look like this
5.2 m/s = displacement(unknown)/85 s
Multiply both sides by 85 s to get rid of denominator so you end up with this
85 s x 5.2 m/s =442 m
2nd Part
Finding position
take the displacement and add it to the initial position
Like this
442 m + 251m = 693m
