You're probably up through first and second declensions, right? Adjectives will match the endings on the nouns they modify.
1st decl = http://econrad.net/latin/ln1.html
2nd decl = http://econrad.net/latin/ln2.html
First declension endings on adjectives -- always feminine:
Singular endings ~

Plural endings ~
-ae
-arum
-is
-as
-is
Second declension endings on adjectives -- always masculine or neuter:
Singular endings -- masculine, then neuter:
-us, -um
-i, -i
-o, -o

Plural endings -- masculine, then neuter:
-i, -a
-orum, -orum

-os, -a
-is, -is
Pulcher is a commonly used early adjective.
NOMINATIVE (used for subjects and predicate nominatives or pred. adjectives)
A pretty girl = puella pulchra
The pretty girls = puellae pulchrae
ACCUSATIVE (used for direct objects and some objects of prepositions)
He saw the Roman houses. = Casas Romanas videt. (Romanus is the adjective here, modifying casas, the direct object.)
