i need a good thesis statement for a history paper i have to write. the topic is changes that took place in the U.S. from 1776-1870 im not good at thinking up thesis statements please help

First you need to list the changes that took place during those years. Which ones are you going to include in your paper?

well i was thinking about using some what along the lines of new inventions bring new era for the united state but my teacher said the paper has to be 5 paragraphs long with introduction 1st body(political changes)2nd body(economic changes,3rd body(social changes) and conclusion i need to figure out a thesis to fit all this

Read, read, read. Take notes on the political, economic, and social changes. Then you should be able to devise a thesis statement.
