What is the unit vector in R^2 which makes an angle of π4 with both the x- and y-axes?

if the angle is supposed to be π/4, then a unit vector in that direction is
(1/√2 , 1/√2) or (√2/2 , √2/2)
(1/√2 , 1/√2) or (√2/2 , √2/2)
