1. 1/x^2 y

If 3x^y
2. -24x^2+y
Answered by Graham
1. Divide like terms.

(2 x^4 y)/(6 x y^2) = (x^2)/(3 y)

2. Multiply, not add.

(8 x^2)(-3 x^y) = -24 x^(2+y)
