A sphere has a radius of 3.5 inches.

Volume (to the nearest tenth) = cubic inches

The answer that I got was 179.6.

It is wrong ! i I miss a step?

V = (4/3) π r^3
= (4/3) π (3.5)^3 = 179.59438
which to the nearest tenth = 179.6

For some reason the computer keeps saying my answer is wrong.

try 179.7 , obtained if 22/7 is used for an approximation of π.
