How do I solve the absolute value of: (x-2)>1? I am completely lost and my homework online is saying I did it wrong. I came up with 3<x<1. Help!

|x-2|>1
+(x-2) > 1 or -(x-2) > 1
x-2 > 1 or -x + 2 >1
x > 3 or x < -1

the key word here is OR
and you forgot to reverse the inequality sign for one of the cases
