there are two different problems, one is like this -3+x=5 and 7x+10=59 someone please tell me how to set these up.

-3+x=5
Add 3 to both sides of the equation.

7x+10=59
Subtract 10 from both sides.

7x+10=59
10-7x+10=59-10
3x+10=49
???

-3+x=5
3+(-3)+x=5+3
x=8
