when giving a table and they ask for an equation i know how to find the slope by picking to points and doing the formula y2-y1/x2-x1 but how do you find the y-intercept when they don't give you any pints with (0,?)

Given: P1(3,4), P2(4,6).
m = (6-4)/(4-3) = 2/1 = 2.
P1(3,4).
Y = mx + b = 4
2*3 + b = 4
6 + b = 4
b = 4-6 = -2. = Y-intercept.
Eq: Y = 2x - 2.= Slope-Intercept form.
