X = Smaller number.
(2x+6) = Larger number.
(2x+6) + x = 2((2x+6) - x)
3x+6 = 2(x+6)
3x+6 = 2x+12
3x-2x = 12-6
X = 6
2x+6 = 2*6 + 6 = 18.
